Now-a-days students are often confused about choosing the right career. One of the main reasons for that can be due to plenty of options available in this era. On the basis of my experiences, I am here trying to help students who finds difficult to choose a path so that they can excel in the right direction. Below I tried to present the options for candidates after class XII.
You can see from above, that students after class XII they can prepare for NDA (National Defence Academy) and work for Indian Army.
Candidates who are interested in teaching can proceed for JBT (Junior Basic Training) course and make teaching as their career.
Engineering aspirants can crack JEE (Joint-Entrance-Exam) conducted by NTA (National Test Agency). There are two exams.

Students pursuing B. Tech can follow their passion in various fields that are following:
Apart from engineering candidates can also look out for B. Arch i.e. Bachelor of Architecture.
Candidates who wants to pursue their career in medical field they can qualify NEET or AIIMS examination. Once qualifying these examinations, you can join M.B.B.S degree.
Delhi University is planning to conduct the entrance exam from year 2022 and restrict admissions to courses offered by it through merit mode.
This time there is a bit relief for the students who are good but sometimes they didn’t get enough marks to clear the cutoff. Most of the students remain behind by a very small margin and I think it’s a golden opportunity for all the talented students to hold a seat in Delhi University.
As you can see from above depiction that a student who has qualified the undergraduate degree. Now he or she is looking for the next step. There are various next steps that student can pursue. Some of them are described here.
If someone has completed its graduate degree as B. Tech then on the conventional path he can choose to opt for M. Tech. For pursuing M.Tech they need to qualify GATE Exam(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).
After completing Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) the candidate can opt for M.Sc. in the same or similar subject as was in his undergraduate degree.
For a student having commerce background, then he or she can opt for B.Com in the same subject. Similarly the conventional path for a student from arts background can choose Masters in Arts.
There is another option that a student can opt for once he completed his graduation degree i.e. Masters of Business Administration (MBA) through CAT (Common Admission Test).
After post graduation, a student can opt for Ph.D. after clearing National exams like CSIR-NET-JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) and GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) or JEST (Joint Entrance Screening Test) and once a student completes his PhD (Doctor of Philosophy), he can opt for Post-Doc Fellow. .
Also students after pursuing Maters in Science can choose M. Tech as their second option after qualifying GATE Exam(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).
