For students who are preparing for this exam you must follow the above give previous year's Analysis to get an idea of CSIR-NET-JRF exam pattern. From the above analysis you must be able to find that more or less the pattern of this exam is the same. You must get the answer of how much questions are coming from a particular subject?
Looking at your strength you must cover the subjects that you think you know the most. Personally I feel that you must try to cover all the subjects as you have to come up in top 1% students.
Some students make mistakes by solving the previous years question paper. The mistake is not that they starts solving the problems and it is that if they are unable to solve a particular problem then they start looking at the answer of the problem from the answer booklet provided by various coaching institute.
One of the biggest mistake students make is that they don't read the question properly. They should understand what is asked in the problem and do you know the concept properly in order to reach the correct answer. If you're unsure then its always better to not mark that problem else negative marking will occur.
Once you had learned basic concepts try to revise and simultaneously clear your doubts.
Build your speed by solving problems within a time limit of 3 hours as you were sitting in an examination.
Build a formula sheet for every topic which helps you at the last moment. Formula sheet should include all the basic concepts, important formulas, simplified circuit diagrams, vital definitions.
You can get free material from various open sources like edx, ocw, and nptel etc.
Group study is one of the best to learn basic concepts of physics. It allows you to work cooperatively and share your knowledge. A group of students can learn more quickly when compared to one who studies individually.
This question arises to many of the students who are trying to crack M.Sc. Entrance exam.
My answer to the above question is: “It all depends upon your caliber”.
If you don’t get any answer then you may try to ask the following questions to yourself?
1. Is your Knowledge sufficient to crack the exam?
2. Do you have any fear of fighting with the rest of the candidates?
3. Are you confident of scoring good marks?
Now I think you will have the answer to whether you should Join coaching or not.
If you talk about giving any competitive exam, one of the most crucial factors is the environment in which you are going to study. A healthy study environment provides you an effective way to learn.
Regular classroom interaction will give you the opportunity to focus on the subject matter and clear any doubts regarding any doubts.
There are many students who are good in solving problems but they are not able to get a good score in competitive exam just because of not having proper guidance. So, proper mentoring and motivation one may resolve this problem.
Fees is 10000 for the entire course which is nearly 1/4 of the market. Initially two Demo Sessions will be provided. Don't worry about the Quality.
For every unit, lecture notes will be prepared. These lecture notes are highly beneficial to cover the subject matter comprehensively.
Short tricks and tools will be taught in the classroom which can be used to solve problems quickly in the examination.
I will teach in a most effective way to make you free from rote learning or memorization of basic concepts.
Assignment problems will be given to you regularly based on what you will be taught in the classroom lecture.
Doubt sessions will be conducted in order to resolve student queries. Students can tell about their strengths and weakness in these sessions which will help me to make them better.
At the end of each unit, there will be a test to judge student performance. If the student performance is not satisfactory, then the test may be re-conducted in order to improve student performance.
