The first step is to study the whole syllabus issued by the organizing Institute. By studying the whole syllabus, I mean that you should understand what you know and what you have to still know.
After the first step, you should study thorougly and cover the topics that you think you don't understood it very well. In other words, you should be able to develop the basic foundation and have clarity in all the concepts.
Once all the syllabus is covered. You must revise the topics for the final time before attempting the conceptual problems from the previous years question paper.
Now just don't try to solve the question papers in a way that most student used to do. A more smarter strategy is required to solve them. Just take one paper at a time and solve it in the presence of a timer. Just to give yourself a taste of enviroment of exam. What will happen Once you solve the problems in the presence of limited time (3 hrs), you will do much more mistakes than what you will do in the absence of a timer.
Once the timer reaches (0:0) i.e. no time is left. Then stop yourself from further solving questions. Now Just open the Answer key from the official website and check your set with that of answer key. Check each of your marked answers with the response given in the official answer key. Mark each and every question. Do negative marking for those problems for which your marked answer doesn't match with that of answer key. Now, just addup the marks for the problems that you have done correctly. Now you should be able to judge yourself depending on how much you have scored.
Problems that you are unable to do in the first atttempt. Just sit for 2-3 days and cover all the problems in the question paper whether have done it correctly or not. Go through the entire paperset. Now clear each and every doubt thar you have earlier.
Similarly follow the above steps for all the previous year's question paper. Now look at your performance in the first exam and the last exam . You will definitely find yourself in a improved position once you follow the entire procedure.
The formula sheet consist of all the formulas for each and every subject. This sheet will help you in recalling all the important formulae during the exam time.
This question arises to many of the students who are trying to crack IIT JAM-2022.
My answer to the above question is: “It all depends upon your caliber”.
You may try to ask the following questions to yourself?
1. Is your Knowledge sufficient to crack the IIT JAM-2022 exam?
2. Do you have any fear of fighting with the rest of the candidates?
3. Are you confident of getting rank below 100?
Now I think you will have the answer to whether you should Join coaching or not.
If you talk about giving any competitive exam, one of the most crucial factors is the environment in which you are going to study. A healthy study environment provides you an effective way to learn.
Regular classroom interaction will give you the opportunity to focus on the subject matter and clear any doubts regarding any doubts.
There are many students who are good in solving problems but they are not able to get a good score in competitive exam just because of not having proper guidance. So, proper mentoring and motivation one may resolve this problem.
For every unit, lecture notes will be prepared. These lecture notes are highly beneficial to cover the subject matter comprehensively.
Short tricks and tools will be taught in the classroom which can be used to solve problems quickly in the examination.
I will teach in a most effective way to make you free from rote learning or memorization of basic concepts.
Assignment problems will be given to you regularly based on what you will be taught in the classroom lecture.
Doubt sessions will be conducted in order to resolve student queries. Students can tell about their strengths and weakness in these sessions which will help me to make them better.
At the end of each unit, there will be a test to judge student performance. If the student performance is not satisfactory, then the test may be re-conducted in order to improve student performance.
